Employment at CAM Environmental

So what does it take to work for a company like CAM Environmental?

TeenagersQuite a bit, in fact. Because we work for some of the largest and most respected industrial and commercial clients in our market area, our standards are pretty high. Our clients demand a high level of service and performance from us and we will demand the same from you.

Some of Our Hiring Criteria Includes:

First, make sure you read and agree with our Core Values and can work in a manner that supports our Approach to Work. If your values don't match up with our values, you probably won't be happy here.

A lot of our work is performed inside of facilities that are considered part of America's commercial or industrial infrastructure. As a result, you must be able to successfully pass a criminal background check.

CAM has a strict Drug and Alcohol Policy which means that you must be able to successfully pass a drug and alcohol test. This test may require urine and/or hair samples. In addition to pre-employment testing, CAM performs random testing as well as testing after accidents or near-misses.

You must also have a valid Driver's License, a clean driving record, current auto insurance, and dependable transportation. Although most of our work is local, some overnight travel may be necessary.

Some of our work involves working outside and may occasionally include strenuous physical activities. As a result, you must in good physical condition and be able to successfully pass a complete medical examination including chest x-rays and a Pulmonary Function Test (PFT).

Much of our work involves gathering, validating, and reporting field data. Therefore, you must have good computer and communication skills and be able to work and think independently. If the job requires, you may also be asked to complete a skill and/or aptitude test.

We operate as a team and will not tolerate harassment of any kind. You must be a team player - but you must also know when it's appropriate to assume a leadership role.

Lastly, you must be a U.S. citizen or be authorized to work in the U.S.
