Project Snapshots

Pasadena Refining Systems (PRSI)

Lead Analysis by AADuring the demolition of a nearby manufacturing facility, CAM analyzed over 200 samples for lead in an effort to identify lead-containing coatings.  This allowed affected cut points to be properly stripped preventing potential worker exposure to lead during cutting operations.

University of Houston

Analysis of MoldCAM’s laboratory analyzed over 1,000 spore trap and tape lift samples for mold and fungal growth as part of Tropical Storm Allison recovery efforts providing next-day, and in many cases same-day, analytical results.  This rapid analysis of samples was a significant factor in completing repair work in time for the start of the fall semester.

BP Amoco (Texas City)

Analysis of Asbestos FibersThis plant-wide survey required the timely analysis and reporting of over 45,000 asbestos bulk samples, many containing multiple layers.  CAM Technicians structured work schedules in order to have analytical results ready for use by Project Managers the following day allowing the survey to be completed on time and within budget.
